30-DAY RETURN POLICY
ELIGIBILITY
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return any unused, undamaged knife in its original packaging for a full refund or exchange.
To qualify for a return under our 30-day policy, your knife must be:
- Unused and in the same condition you received it
- Free from any signs of use, wear, or damage
- In the original packaging with all included accessories (blade guards, certificates, boxes, etc.)
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns
- We cover return shipping costs if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect
REFUND PROCESSING
Once we receive and inspect your returned item:
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
- Refund will be issued to your original payment method
- You will receive email confirmation when the refund is processed
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable (unless return is due to our error)
1-YEAR WARRANTY
COVERAGE
All Damascus steel knives from Chefstore are covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
Our warranty covers:
- Blade integrity and structural defects
- Damascus pattern inconsistencies or fading due to manufacturing issues
- Handle construction defects or separation
- Material defects in steel or handle materials
- Workmanship issues that affect knife performance
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Our warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear from regular use
- Damage from improper use, abuse, or accidents
- Chips, cracks, or breaks from dropping, impact, or cutting inappropriate materials
- Rust or corrosion from improper care, storage, or maintenance
- Damage from improper sharpening techniques or tools
- Modifications made by anyone other than Chefstore
- Knives used for commercial or professional purposes (unless specifically sold as professional-grade)
- Cosmetic issues that do not affect functionality
HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM

5. Our team will assess your claim within 48 hours
WARRANTY RESOLUTION
If your warranty claim is approved, we will:
- Repair the knife at no cost to you, OR
- Replace it with an identical or comparable product, OR
- Issue a full refund if repair or replacement is not possible
We will cover return shipping costs for approved warranty claims.
EXCHANGES
If you wish to exchange your knife for a different model, size, or style:
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery
- The knife must meet our return eligibility criteria
- Exchanges are subject to product availability
- Price differences may apply
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items cannot be returned:
- Knives that show any signs of use
- Items without original packaging
- Personalized or custom-engraved knives
- Items marked as final sale or clearance
- Gift cards
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS ON ARRIVAL
If your knife arrives damaged or defective:
- Contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery)
- Provide photos of the damage and packaging
- Do not discard the original packaging
- We will arrange free return shipping
- You will receive a replacement or full refund, including original shipping costs
PROOF OF PURCHASE REQUIRED
To process any return or warranty claim, you must provide proof of purchase:

Returns or warranty claims without proof of purchase cannot be processed.
INSPECTION RIGHTS

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
To maintain your warranty coverage:

- Use appropriate cutting surfaces (wood or plastic cutting boards)
- Sharpen using proper techniques and tools
- Keep blade dry and oiled as recommended
